Video Production Internship

The Office of Annual Giving within the division of University Advancement is seeking a student intern to provide video production services for the 2016-2017 academic year. This position will be project based and will receive an hourly wage, paid every two weeks, during times that projects are being completed. This student will coordinate with the Assistant Director of Annual Giving for Digital Fundraising to plan, film, edit, and produce short (90 second) videos related to fundraising projects through the CSU crowdfunding platform, CHARGE! This role will require access to video production equipment and software which the student must be able to have available. Projects will include, but are not limited to, scheduling and conducting interviews, filming activities on campus, incorporating appropriate audio, editing and finalizing videos. The ideal candidate can display that they are able to produce work efficiently and manage their time effectively.

The student selected should expect to sharpen their project management skills and gain a better understanding of digital philanthropy, which is a growing field that holds a great amount of potential.

The largest time commitment should occur in the fall and through March of 2017. Other projects may be available and will be discussed and decided on with the student.
