Video Production Intern Needed Immediately

Posted on January 5th, 2015

Big Creek Productions is in search of a video production intern who can start ASAP. We’re seeking someone who is proficient in the entire Adobe Production Suite as most of our work is done in Premiere Pro, Audition and After Effects. If you are good with Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash and/or Muse even better!

You will have the opportunity to learn how to work on a wide variety of projects for a wide array of clients allowing you to gain the valuable real world experience that is going to set you apart from your competition when it comes time to apply for jobs after college!

I need help on filming locations as well as in post production. A reliable person that I can trust to work on projects with me as well as on their own is what I seek. You must have the drive and work ethic to succeed in this industry which is extremely competitive.

I prefer that you have a computer that has Adobe Creative Cloud already installed or at least the specs to run it well. The student version costs $20 per month and you will be required to have it for this position. Part of your job will be regularly sorting and labeling footage and performing rough edits. I have no problem allowing the right person to do this work at home when their daily schedule allows for it, as long as you can meet deadlines.

As of right now this is an unpaid internship, however, I don’t mind saying that I will pay project bonuses from time to time.

Big Creek Productions currently works with clients of all shapes and sizes from small businesses to other production companies that we help produce TV shows for. Two of our largest clients are non-profit organizations, one is a gun rights advocacy group and the other takes wounded veterans hunting and fishing. If you are morally opposed to guns and/or hunting I still encourage you to apply, however, please know you will be asked to work on these projects.

Big Creek Productions is growing rapidly. This internship could lead to a part time or full time position or possibly a sub contractor relationship upon completion or graduation.

Thank you for your interest and I look forward to speaking with you.
