Social Media Intern

The social media intern at the Food Bank for Larimer County will be instrumental in increasing our social media presence.

Responsibilities include the following:
• Monitor and engage on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn
• Expand presence on Twitter and LinkedIn
• Create and maintain Instagram presence
• Follow and list appropriate people on Twitter
• Keep up with social media trends and make recommendations to increase exposure and success

Qualifications:
• Familiar with social media, particularly Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
• Passionate about Social Media (interested in doing it for yourself too!)
• Effective and professional communicator
• Friendly and conversational
• GPA at least 3.5
• Must be detail oriented, team player and technologically savvy
• Fast Learner
• Responsible and dependable

Benefits:
• This is an unpaid part-time internship for a great cause!
• Estimated weekly hours are 5-10 hours per week (schedule is flexible, but time should be scheduled between Monday and Thursday, 8 am – 2pm for a minimum of 90 minutes)
• Possibility of working remotely once familiar with our organization
• Ideal candidate will be available for the remainder of the school year
