This is a paid internship for the position of screening manager for the 2012 TriMedia Film Festival (TMFF). It offers an opportunity to learn more about film festivals and interact with filmmakers, TMFF staff, and the community. The intern works independently, so the hours are flexible. Payment is as an independent contractor. The intern will be working directly with Francie Glycenfer, Executive Co-Director of the TMFF and Vice President of Horsetooth Productions, the educational nonprofit organization that produces the festival.

Film/TV entries to the TMFF go through a community volunteer screening process to help select the best for exhibition at the festival. The screening manager coordinates the screening of the filmmakers entries submitted to the TMFF by:
1. Managing and recruiting community volunteer screeners.
2. Organizing the screening evaluations.
3. Making sure the film entries are processed in a timely manner by contacting the community volunteers at least once per week and responding immediately to their emails.
4. Picking up and dropping off of films and screening evaluation forms in two TMFF boxes located at the CSU Honors Program and in southeast Fort Collins.
5. Miscellaneous administrative duties as assigned.

• Interest in films, festivals, and arts administration
• Self-starter with ability to take initiative when needed
• Well organized, and able to create understandable systems for others to follow
• Good people skills in person, on the phone, and in emails
• Willing to be flexible and follow direction
• Basic computer skills in word processing and spreadsheets

The intern position pays $_75.00___ per month, and for a total of $_300.00 for the internship period.
