United Way of Larimer County helps local children and families succeed in school, work and life by tackling the source of community challenges to drive change that lasts. United Way of Larimer County is now accepting applications for 2016 fall semester internship to support fundraising efforts in the Resource Development Department. This internship will provide valuable career experience while making a difference in the local community.

Essential Job Functions
• Promote United Way’s vision and mission in the community
• Assist with various aspects of fundraising campaigns
• Help brainstorm fundraising ideas
• Assist with and attend special campaign events
• Assist with event planning and preparation
• Thank donors for their gifts to United Way
• Assist staff with various administrative and clerical tasks
• Work in a customer relationship management database

Other Job Functions
• Maintain excellent communication with all staff
• Solicit for in-kind donations
• Attend and participate in Resource Development and other staff meetings
• Other duties as assigned

• 2016 Fall semester commitment
• 15 hours a week during business hours. Hours are flexible around school schedule
• Position is contingent upon successful background check
• Must have own reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and proof of insurance. Mileage reimbursement is provided
• Stipend available
