PAID/UNPAID INTERNSHIP DEADLINE: Colorado Springs Gazette

Posted on January 30th, 2015

Send all inquiries ASAP to Editor Joanna Bean! [joanna.bean@gazette.com]

The Gazette is close to making a first round of offers for summer interns (mostly for a few paid intern positions). So if you are interested in being considered, you need to send an application to Joanna asap, including a resume, cover letter, and five work samples.

– Joanna will  be at the CPA job fair next month, so if students haven’t or can’t get their materials in right now, the Gazette will probably still consider students then. But at that point, most of the intern spots will probably be for school credit, not paid.

– If students can’t get to the job fair, they still can send Joanna an application, and she’ll consider it in a later round of intern placement (which most likely will  be school credit internships).

– They’re looking for interns to work in local news, business news, features, A&E coverage, video, online, copy desk/design, sports.
