Online News/Content Manager Internship

Webcom Communications ( is looking for a part time Summer intern to develop Website content in several high technology markets.

Specifically, Webcom is developing a new online media platform and is searching for a motivated individual to get in on the ground floor of this exciting process. This will be a great opportunity to learn how to start up a publication, create content, and build a consistent readership.

Selected applicants will be responsible for developing content and stories, including working with outside writers on blogs and technical articles in related fields, searching for news daily via various PR news Websites, posting content online daily, and disseminating it via various social media and eNewsletter platforms.

Preferred Skills/Skills You’ll Acquire:
AP Style
Content Development/Management
Graphic Design
Website Maintenance
Social Media/Marketing

Software Used:
Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, DreamWeaver, and InDesign)
Microsoft Office Suite

Position is unpaid, but Webcom Communications will gladly assist the CSU Journalism department in providing class credit for this internship. Position is open from Early May 2014 until the end of Summer break, with flexible hours.
