Office of VP for Diversity Intern

Posted on June 13th, 2012

The Office of the Vice President for Diversity has an internship opportunity available for a student with strong communication skills to research, write and edit stories for the website and to provide general assistance with diversity events.

Ideally the intern would be resourceful, self-motivated and have a genuine interest in topics related to multiculturalism, diversity and inclusion. Being able to attend events, shoot and edit photographs and video for the website and other social media using a pocket camcorder (provided) is preferable.

Student will receive academic credit for the experience. Internship is presently unpaid. Hours are flexible. Time commitment is at least 5 hours per week for a one credit internship. (Can be up 15 hours per week for three credits.)

To apply for the internship with the Office of the Vice President for Diversity, please email your cover letter, three writing samples and resume with at least two references to the contact information below. All applications for fall internships must be received by August 3, 2012. Students selected for an interview will be notified within one week after the deadline.
