The Ball Aerospace Internship Program is a ten week program that provides interns with:

This position will report into the Corporate Communications organization of Ball Aerospace & Technologies, Corp.

Ball Aerospace supports critical missions for national agencies such as the Department of Defense, NASA, NOAA and other U.S. government and commercial entities. The company develops and manufactures spacecraft, advanced instruments and sensors, components, data exploitation systems and RF solutions for strategic, tactical and scientific applications.

Housing for this position will be the responsibility of the student and is not provided by Ball Aerospace.

What You´ll Do as an Intern

This position will be located in Boulder, CO and be responsible for assisting corporate communication activities. Specifically, you will:

      • Research, write, edit, and proofread copy for company publications, intranet, website, social media, scripts, and employee events.
      • Lead public affairs activities for student Ball Intern Rocket Scientist Team (BIRST)
      • You may research, write and edit speeches and presentations for the company
      • Create news releases and marketing materials as assigned
      • Additional internal and external communications support, as assigned

What You´ll Need

Degree Requirement:

To be eligible for this position you must have completed your Junior year and be enrolled in a degree program for the fall of 2014. (We will accept applications from Seniors, individuals who have completed at least 1 semester of their Senior year, or enrolled in post Graduate program.)
Communications, Public Relations, or Journalism degree fields
