Journal of Undergraduate Research Intern

JUR is a peer-reviewed, undergraduate journal registered with the Library of Congress that accepts submissions of any subject, from any undergraduate institution. We receive hundreds of submissions for publication every year, from institutions ranging from small liberal arts colleges to international institutions. The review process for publication includes peer, graduate, and faculty referees, ensuring that the Journal publishes competitive material that follows the Journal’s standards for academic, creative, and passionate work.

The internship positions we have available are as follows:

Marketing Associate – marketing strategy and networking experience to help build professional relationships with organizations outside of CSU.

Website Designer – designing and maintaining the JUR website to help increase accessibility to the number of publications we have online.

Graphic Design Associate – designing and publishing experience for advertisements, marking materials and journal layout.

Art Director – critiquing art submissions and application of art history.

Director of Expansions – organizing semester events and volunteer opportunities for the Journal staff.

Director of Communications – creating and implementing a developmental strategy to grow JUR’s social media presence in a professional manner.

Satellite Ambassador – Keeping in contact with non-resident JUR staff and international editors.
