Graphic Designer

The Graphic Designer is a student position that assists the CSU Health Network Assistant Director of Marketing Communications with the design and development of marketing communications materials for the CSU Health Network.

Major Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Marketing Communications, the Graphic Designer will:
• Design and develop marketing materials for CSU Health Network events, programs, services and public health campaigns
• Assist with coordinating printing and distribution of marketing and communications materials
• Coordinate photo shoots for CSU Health Network creative materials
• Produce and prepare files print and digital mediums
• Ensure materials are consistent with CSU Health Network and CSU brand identities
• Communicate weekly with supervisor about project(s) status
• Maintain an organized folder structure for all graphics files
• Work collaboratively with other CSU Health Network employees and independently on projects
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director of Marketing Communications

Position Qualifications:
• Graphic design experience using Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Experience writing copy for print and digital media
• Ability to commit up to 10 hours each week to CSU Health Network Projects
• Student pursing a Graphic Design degree at CSU
• Experience with photography and filming, including camera work, art direction and editing
• Work experience indicating attention to detail and follow through
• Experience working in a Graphic Design internship or job
• Demonstrated experience managing projects independently
• Interest in healthcare marketing and public health communications

Up to 10 hours/week at $9.78 per hour

Starting Date:
Anticipated starting date is June 1, 2015. Position needed throughout the summer and fall semesters.
