Graphic Design Internship

The Office of CSU Events and Donor Relations is currently looking for a Graphic Design Intern to join our team this summer.

Graphic Design intern will gain hands-on experience developing invitations and marketing pieces for a variety of University events. The Graphic Design Intern will serve as a member of this CSU Events Communications team, which is committed to advancing the messaging and branding of Colorado State University through the Web, print/electronic marketing pieces, social media, and additional outlets.

Graphic Design Intern will:
• Work closely with the Assistant Director of Event Communications in development of event marketing and communications materials.
• Assist in design and editing of event invitations.
• Ensure departmental adherence to University branding and communications guidelines. Research best practices regarding event communications.
• Additional communications, marketing, and event-related duties, as assigned.

• Current CSU student, available Summer 2015, minimum 10 hours per week
• Work-Study preferred. Successful candidates without an award will be asked to apply for Merit Work-Study.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows
• Willingness and ability to work with a team
• Strong work ethic and commitment to detail
• Copy editing ability
• Creativity
• Sense of humor

• Web design and/or website content management experience a plus, but not required

Interns are eligible to receive course credit.

Preferred work commitment of two semesters or more (students will be brought on as in an unpaid internship capacity for the summer with the option of being hired on for paid work in the fall semester)
