Internship Length: 1 Semester, with the opportunity to return based on performance

Position Summary
The Graphic Design Intern will gain hands-on experience creating and editing professional marketing and publicity pieces for University Center for the Arts (UCA) events. This individual will work with the UCA Publicity & Marketing team to create graphic imagery that will be used on various media, such as the Web, The Green Room online magazine (can be viewed online at, print materials, social media, and additional outlets. This position allows students to expand their professional portfolio while working in a vibrant, creative atmosphere.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Design graphics to accompany marketing and publicity materials.
- Create programs to be used at Music, Theatre, and Dance performances.
- Uphold college and university branding and style guidelines.
- Assist with on-campus marketing efforts and events.
- Additional communications, marketing, and event-related duties, as assigned.

- Current CSU student, available Spring 2018
- Strong experience with the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator)
- High levels of creativity
- Great work ethic and commitment to detail
- Familiarity with social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat)
- Ability to excel in a collaborative, team-oriented environment and work independently
- Flexibility to work during regular office hours and evening events as needed
- Experience with video editing and/or photo journalism preferred, but not required
