Graphic Design Intern

Hours Per Week: 3-10 (dependent upon course credit requirements)

Position Summary:
The Graphic Design Intern will gain hands-on experience developing print and online marketing pieces for University Center for the Arts (UCA) events. This individual will work with the UCA marketing team to create professional, eye-catching designs that reflect the creative nature of the college.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the Publicity & Marketing team in development of event marketing and communications materials.
• Work with artists and directors in the design process of marketing materials as needed, including posters, fliers, digital screens, social media, and The Green Room online magazine.
• Uphold college and university branding guidelines.
• Additional communications, marketing, and event-related duties, as assigned

Qualifications:
• Current CSU student, available Spring 2016
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
• Ability to excel in a collaborative, team-oriented environment and work independently
• Strong work ethic and commitment to detail
• Creative
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Interns are eligible to receive course credit
