Editorial Intern

Posted on October 19th, 2015

The Denver Business Journal editorial internship is 100 percent writing, usually for the newspaper’s weekly news reports, executive profiles and some award special sections. All have a business focus.

There may be some research assignments and other duties as requested by the supervisors.

The DBJ editors are big on working closely with the interns to teach them how to become better reporters, writers and time organizers. We want them to learn a lot while they’re here and be employable upon graduation.

The internship averages 20 hours per week and is paid at the current minimum wage rate. The student can take academic credit for the internship, but it is not required.

You can apply at any time by sending a cover letter, resume and at least three writing samples by email.

To apply or if you have questions about the DBJ internships, contact Print Editor Boots Gifford (bgifford@bizjournals.com).
