Digital Content Intern – Clear Channel Media + Entertainment

Clear Channel Media + Entertainment of Northern Colorado is search for an Online Content Intern at our Loveland office. We are seeking someone who is excited to learn how to effectively maintain the web and social media presence of seven of Northern Colorado’s best radio stations.

Clear Channel Media & Entertainment serves 150 markets through 840 owned radio stations, and the company’s radio stations and content can be heard on AM/FM, HD digital radio, satellite radio, on the Internet at and on the company’s radio station websites, on the iHeartRadio mobile app, in enhanced auto dashes, on iPads and smartphones, and used via navigation systems.

What You Will Be Doing


  • Assist Online Content Director in updating + maintaining website and social media content.
  • Manage multiple digital assets on multiple sites.
  • Assist on-air talent in developing unique online elements and content.
  • Research and develop online strategies to increase online presence via Social Networks and Digital assets
  • Stay abreast on new online trends, news and viral content
  • Provide recap materials for internal and external stakeholders. Includes all requested proof of performance materials (screenshots, airchecks, etc). All materials delivered based on requested deadlines.
  • Work with the Digital and Sales departments to schedule, develop and coordinate station email newsletters.
  • Attend and manage assigned duties at major station events (Major station concerts, winner activations, live broadcasts, etc).
  • Follow and update Social Nets on multiple sites throughout the day

Skills an Ideal Candidate Would Have


  • Editorial Skills – writing, editing and research
  • Video production – Assist in basic shooting and editing of online videos
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Audio software/editing is a plus
  • Expert at Social Media; (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Vine, etc.)

Requested Experience

  • Highly Organized & Self Motivated
  • Experience in website content development (HTML, CSS, PHP)
  • Experience managing a content-oriented website.
  • Knowledge of web standards, browser compatibility issues, and accessibility issues.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Passion for internet, pop culture, & social media.
  • Experience with shooting/editing video and photos is a plus.
  • General knowledge of various backend website admin tools
  • Basic image editing skills
  • Very sharp attention to detail
  • Speed – able to work quickly and error free

Candidates must be willing to work a flexible schedule which may include early mornings, nights, weekend, and or holiday work shifts. You must have reliable transportation.

Candidates MUST be seeking a four-year college degree in a related program.
