Development Intern

SERVE 6.8 is a Fort Collins non-profit dedicated to serving those experiencing disaster every day, whether it is a personal or natural disaster. Our initiatives include: the Sister Mary Alice Murphy Center for Hope (Murphy Center), Disaster Response, Community Impact, and the Resource Center. The Murphy Center is a one-stop resource shop for the homeless/near homeless. Community Impact connects volunteers to community projects for low income individuals/families. The Resource Center provides services to low-income families and individuals. SERVE 6.8 also operates the financial assistance program for Timberline Church.

As a Development Intern at SERVE 6.8 you would have the opportunity to be involved in:
• event planning, including designing materials for the event
• business outreach
• grant writing
• securing event sponsorships and donations from local businesses
• assisting with organization communication and branding

Internship opportunities are available for the Summer 2015 and Fall 2015 Semesters

This is an unpaid internship opportunity.
