CSU Football Internship
Posted on February 7th, 2017
The CSU Football Department has a limited amount of unpaid internship opportunities available for the Spring 2017 semester. These positions are designed to engage CSU undergraduate students in the day-to-day operations of the Football Office. Students will be exposed to all facets of an NCAA Div. I FBS football program. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: recruiting operations, donor development, personnel development, event management including special football events, marketing and office administration.
The internship positions provide the opportunity to gain experience and examine career opportunities in intercollegiate athletics while working in a dynamic, exciting and collaborative environment. Students are encouraged to examine all aspects of the football program in an effort to maximize exposure to career opportunities.
Individuals must demonstrate the ability to work effectively with a culturally diverse community and advance the Department’s commitment to diversity and inclusion. Hours are flexible and can be tailored to fit your individual work or class schedule. All interns will receive instruction in – and be required to comply with – NCAA regulations and policies.
Interested students are encouraged to submit your resume, a letter explaining your interest in the internship, what you hope to gain from the experience, and why you think you would be a good addition to the CSU Football Office.
Resumes and cover letters should be emailed to Leah Knight at firstname.lastname@example.org by February 23, 2017. There will be an informational session held at McGraw Athletic Center on February 28. Interviews will be conducted during March 1-3, 2017.
