Position is located in Broomfield, Colorado.

This is a 10-week internship from May 26, 2015 to July 31, 2015. Applicants must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university. This will be a full time position for the summer.

The Ball Corporation Internship Program is a summer program that provides candidates with:

There are many recreational opportunities along the Colorado Front Range. Our state is famous for its skiing, hiking, biking, mountain climbing and beautiful scenery. We are also just 30 minutes from Denver, with access to all of the amenities that the mile high city has to offer. Over the course of a summer session, students are encouraged to participate in social and recreational activities, many of which are organized by the College Relations Department. Mentors and department co-workers enjoy spending time with students at many of the activities.

Responsibilities include:

Own the summer internship projects to ensure timely delivery, from conception through completion.

Craft articles and content to help tell the Ball story and capture the voice of employees from locations around the world.

Research, write, edit, and proofread copy for digital and print publications, intranet, scripts, speeches and presentations.

Partner with local communication leads and human resources contacts to publicize engagement survey actions.
Manage programming and communication plans for company events.

Perform external communications responsibilities as assigned, including but not limited to social media content, press release development, daily news report production and special events.

Assist other company departments with internal communications projects as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Major in Public Relations, Journalism or Communications

Skilled AP Style writer
Desired working knowledge of the following areas:
Corporate communications
Photography
Video production and editing
Social media platforms
