Description of Volunteer Role
The Cherry Creek Arts Festival & Blake Communications seek a team of volunteers to assist in on-site social media efforts during the 2015 Arts Festival to take place July 3, 4 & 5. Team members will be walking through the site of the Festival updating Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat & Periscope with messages, videos, news, photographs and information live from the event. Street team members will be encouraged to use their creativity to publish content through the different social media channels.

In addition to attendance on site during all three days of the Festival, the team members will go through a series of 2-3 meetings that will include training for on-site social media use and posting. Meeting dates will be determined based on selected team members’ availability. Team members also will be asked to attend additional Arts Festival events in the week leading up to the Festival. This is a great opportunity for students interested in seeking social media, marketing and special events experience.
